Dogon Country - Monsillage Eau de Parfum

The travel memories that line our minds often only need a small spark to rekindle them; a piece of music, a smell, a flavor, an emotion... I remember exploring this outdoor market at the foot of the cliff, admiring the beauty of these women wearing indigo loincloths marked with horizontal lines evoking their marital status. I taste this scarlet juice, half bitter, half sweet, with dried hibiscus flower. I smell the captive humidity of an arid earth, the exoticism of a wood being carved, the grain of a skin being stretched... such is the olfactory landscape of this perfume that is intended to reflect my memories of Africa: textured, raw and authentic.
