The works in the "Parcelles" (Patches) collection come from my 2 "therapeutic works on Plywood", painted in 2022.
In my desire to create useful work from the hardships I've faced, I cut 25 "patches" from my 2 large plywood artworks, painted in 2022 with the energy of despair. I retouched each of these 25 small works one by one, this time with an energy filled with joy of life, confidence, and renewed determination.
With these small format paintings, I want to share with those who need them patches of light, courage, serenity, softness, freedom, etc...
