The works in the Parcelles collection are derived from my 2 therapeutic works on Plywood, painted in 2022.
In my desire to create something useful from the hardships I've faced, I cut 25 parcelles (fragments) from my two large works on Plywood, painted in 2022 with the energy of despair. I retouched each of these 25 small works one by one, this time with an energy filled with joy, confidence, and renewed determination.
With these small-format paintings, I want to share with those who need them fragments of light, courage, serenity, gentleness, freedom, etc…
