Phew... 2020 is finally behind us, and these few days off (since 4 p.m. on December 24th) have done me a world of good! In such a short time, I managed to get away from work and it allowed me to take a step back from this eventful year, to say the least!

Before continuing my holiday break (hoping for lots of snow!), I'm offering you the highlights of the workshop-boutique summarized using textiles... You know my love of fabrics, so this theme was a no-brainer!

Navy blue cotton printed with white flamingos will remain for me the emblem of spring 2020 and the pandemic. I had a roll of this fabric several meters long and that's why I chose it to make community masks, thinking that I would have more than enough to make such small accessories. Not only did I quickly sell the entire quantity, but I used several other prints afterwards. I made more than 1000 masks myself in 3-ply fabric (I stopped counting) and I continue to sell a few each week. I even refined my pattern recently and I will offer you my new model at the beginning of the year.

These 3 bold prints: "orange and mauve flowers," "abstract mustard," and "bright peacock" were a big hit this year. I called them that because I stepped a little outside my comfort zone when choosing them. I really liked them (I choose my fabrics on impulse), but I wondered if my customers would think I was overdoing it!

I dared and you loved it!

The burnt orange yarn I used to make asymmetrical ponchos and scarves was surprisingly popular! I personally love earth tones, but they're not usually the best-selling shades. This time I had to buy a second roll to keep up with demand!

This pretty, slightly shimmering red and black fabric was my best-selling Michelle dress this year. I think I owe this success to the subtle red and black pattern of this fabric, which also offers a texture and hold that make it particularly comfortable to wear.

The photo of the charcoal gray knit can't do justice to this exceptional material, a blend of cashmere and silk. It's one of the wonders I brought back from Paris in 2019, and I recently finished the roll. It always makes me feel something when I exhaust my stash of such textile jewels! Luckily, I still have some left in the dark!
